About this service
Inclusion provides comprehensive support for people wanting support around their alcohol and/or drug use. The service is free and confidential to anyone living in Hampshire aged 25 and over affected by drugs or alcohol use.
Treatment options include:
- Harm reduction interventions such as naloxone, needle exchange, safer injecting advice, blood-borne virus (BBV) testing & vaccination
- Outreach services
- Brief interventions and advice
- Self-help resources and online support
- Supportive, clinical treatment prescribing programmes (for opiates and alcohol) for detox and relapse prevention
- Referral into inpatient detoxification
- Pathways to residential rehab
- Psychosocial one-to-one and group work interventions
- Evidenced-based therapeutic interventions
- Support and treatment for prescription-only medication drugs (POM) and over-the-counter drugs (OTC)
- Complementary therapies
- Health and wellbeing interventions
- Intensive aftercare support packages
- Volunteering programme
- Online recovery resources

Access to the service can either be through self referral or through other referring agencies (such as GPs and pharmacies).
