About this service

The West Kent Drug & Alcohol Wellbeing Service offers a pathway to recovery for adults who misuse drugs or alcohol.

The team at CGL will discuss your challenges and goals with you and answer any questions you have. We can help you to find the tools you need to meet your goals, as well as any extra support you need along the way.

The Service offers a range of intensive community-based support, treatment and rehabilitation services that are designed to meet your needs. The service is free and confidential. It is available to anyone 18 or over who lives in West Kent. It offers:

  • Treatment to help you reduce or stop the harmful use of substances, including (but not limited to) alcohol, heroin, cocaine and cannabis.
  • Personalised support based on your needs and what you'd like to achieve.
  • One-to-one and group sessions.
  • Assessment and treatment provided by an experienced team of health and care staff, nurses and doctors.
  • Access to advice and support from people who share similar life experiences.
  • Reach service for those who require the extra support to access services.
  • Dedicated Criminal Justice team.
  • Needle Exchange access for client using illicit and image performance enhancing drugs.
  • Support with Blood Borne Virus testing (i.e Hepatitis) and immunisation.
