Ara

• Ara provides support to people with drug and alcohol recovery, gambling addiction, homelessness and prison resettlement.
• We provide a range of housing (differing in the extent of support) to accommodate for people at all different stages of their recovery, from very early on to maintaining abstinence and independent living. Ara clients have a housing support worker who will work with them one-on-one to co-create and work through personalised support plans. Ara is a partner of Horizons in Bristol, meaning we work alongside other treatment agencies to address peoples substance use and support them to reach their recovery goals.
• Ara have been supporting people directly suffering gambling harms and affected others across the South West of England and all of Wales since 2010. We offer free and confidential advice about gambling, together with one-to-one counselling for people experiencing problems with their own gambling, or that of a family member.
