The clue is in the name. Ecstasy gave me the most amazing, thrilling buzz, like nothing I had ever felt. It was like I was in love, with Everything..it made me feel confident, like I was sex on legs! I can only say, my advise, if anybody was to experiment with ecstasy, (as with any drug) is to make sure you are happy in your environment, with people around you that you trust.

From mine and my friends experiences, ecstasy has the best effect when in a club, listening to great music. An effect of ecstasy is that you literally ‘Feel’ the music through your body, and you dance and dance and dance. It is such a strange feeling to describe, but believe me when I say, it is the most awesome experience.

However, as with anything else, a high is often followed by a low. Usually after a night out and I have taken ecstasy, I feel very low and depressed the next day, the whole day. A come down makes me feel deflated, and just generally crap..but I must admit, I think to myself that it was all worth it..for those hours of intense euphoria.

It’s important to keep hydrated especially if taking ecstasy while clubbing. It’s best to sip fruit juice or isotonic sports drinks regularly - but no more than a pint an hour. And you should also take regular breaks from dancing to cool down.
